I am glad to inform
you that I am now in private practice in Brazil as Legal Counsel
in Energy Law, specially in the areas of Natural Gas, Nuclear
Energy and Petroleum, in all of their institutional and corporate
aspects: from project structuring and implementation (on developing
applicable legal solutions) through the follow up of everyday
business activities, such as draft and negotiation of agreements
and other legal documents, and orientation and follow up of
due registration and licensing thereof before the competent
governmental bodies, as well as drafting of legal opinions,
technical notes and similar instruments.
The main objective
of my activity is to make available, given the legal and institutional
environment, a response to my client’s individual needs
and requirements, tailoring the proper model demanded by each
project in view of the technical specifications and purposes,
while at the same time developing innovative solutions whenever
convenient.
My participation
for more than thirty (30) years in major enterprises and projects,
in Brazil and abroad, working in close cooperation with the
technical staff, enables me to meet my client’s requirements
from the legal-institutional point of view. Similarly, in
the international ambiance, the continuous and proficient
exchange with friends and colleagues from the United States,
France, England, Portugal, Bolivia and Argentina makes international
practice one of my strengths.
Attending congresses,
seminars and meetings in Brazil and abroad, presenting papers
and participating in panels, as well as being a member of
several international associations and institutions permit
me to have a constant exchange of ideas and permanent updating
with the latest advances in my fields of legal practice.
